Message from the Republic of Texas

Time for another update. I like Texas. I love working for AMD. I couldn't be blessed with a more perfect job. As much as I love it here, I still wonder if I could live in Texas for a long period of time. I think this more of the homesick in me talking. I really do love Indiana, I am not ashamed of it. Its a beautiful state, like any state, if you are in the right places. Like they always say, there's no place like home and being near your families. I've got time to think about it. But when I do think about it, I keep realizing that there are simply no semi-conductor companies in the midwest.

I do miss everyone so much. I am really looking forward to coming back to the midwest and seeing everyone again. I am strangely ready for another semester of pain at Purdue. I guess I am looking forward to spending time with my friends before they all graduate. Much Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and various PC games will be played. And how could I forget about Purdue football? We are going to the Rose Bowl this year.

I bought Coldplay's new album, X&Y and I am very impressed. They set the bar very high with their A Rush of Blood to the Head album and I think they definitely set a higher bar. I wish I could say the same for the new Dave Matthews Band album. It is incredibly disappointing. Sure, there are a couple of good songs on it, but overall it sucks. They need to stick with what they are good at, not inspire stupid R&B sounds into their music. Oh how I miss the good ole days of Crash, Under the Table and Dreaming, and Before These Crowded Streets.

Umm...thats all I got. Peace out my dawgs from da Burgh.
